The AIS WatchMate WMR750 Rx is a standalone AIS solution combining a dedicated AIS display with a high end, dual channel receiver in one housing, making installation a breeze. Using the Universal Shipborne Automatic Identification System (AIS) the AISWatchMate displays data from all AIS equipped vessels in your vicinity. Audible warning alarms are sounded if a potentially dangerous situation exists. The AISWatchMate takes the guesswork out of using AIS by prioritizing targets by closest point of approach (CPA) and allowing the user to filter targets which pose no threat to the vessel. When an alarm is triggered the AISWatchMate automatically displays the targets information along with an indication on what triggered the alarm. The AISWatchMate will interface with any NEMA enabled chart plotter or PC for a secondary display option. When your situation changes, such as from offshore to coastal, you may wish to change your alarm settings. The AISWatchMate allows you to match alarm settings with your situation as quickly as your situation changes without having to go through complicated setup procedures. The AISWatchMate provides a single button selection for switching between Offshore, Coastal, Harbor or Anchored modes quickly and easily. Each profile can be customized and saved for future use. The alarm sounds whenever a ship is detected that will come dangerously close even though the ship may still be many miles away. You are alerted immediately with the closest point of approach (CPA) and the time until CPA. Find your friends fast by creating your own "fleet" list of targets. Your friend's boats will be displayed with a different icon making a rendez-vous very easy. Unique Feature Plots Targets at Closest Point of Approach For any target you can receive a plot showing the position of the target relative to yours at the time of closest point of approach. This shows graphically how a crossing situation will occur and helps answer the question "Will the ship pass ahead or behind me?" Requires GPS input Benefits: - Increased safety off shore or in busy shipping areas
- Safety at night or in bad weather when it is difficult to see ship's lights or direction
- Positive identification of targets with the vessel id and name for voice and DSC communication
- Alarms based on closest point of approach (CPA) or range
- Ideal for short-handed crews
Features: - Prioritized target list for easy identification
- Graphical display:
- Radar-style situation display shows all targets and nav aids within the selected range. Dangerous or lost targets are indicated.
- Pop-up information box shows details for selected target.
- You are alerted immediately with the closest point of approach (CPA) and the time until CPA.
- Triggers alarm if a vessel will come too close.
- Unique CPA plot shows whether target will pass ahead or behind. Helps you determine the best collision avoidance strategy.
- Full control of alarm parameters.
- Unique and customizable alarm and filter settings help to eliminate false alarms.

- Low Power Consumption
- Designed to be used on small and large sailing and power yachts. However, it is especially well suited for yachts which are energy minded, particularly on long offshore passages
- Works seamlessly with other AIS systems, such as chart plotters and computers, but is fully functional as a stand-alone display unit. When power is a concern you can still safely leave the AISWatchMate "on-watch" all the time.
- Customizable profiles (anchored, harbor, coastal and offshore) quickly tailor alarm settings to fit your sailing environment
- Fully water proof for installation at any location
- Audible warning alarms are sounded if a potentially dangerous situation exists
- In addition to the internal alarm, an external buzzer, alarm, or signal light can be interfaced without requiring any additional relays (maximum 2 Amps )
- Alarm sounds whenever a ship is detected that will come dangerously close even though the ship may still be many miles away.
- Full support for AIS aids to navigation including off-position and virtual aid indicators.
- Complete AIS data is displayed for each ship to increase your situation awareness.
- Alarms alert you well in advance if you are in danger of a collision
- Easy to interpret display immediately shows all the info you need
- AIS allows you to "see" around islands and headlands when radar is blocked

- Four buttons control all features.
- Each button is clearly labeled on-screen.
- Buttons are backlit for night time use and illumination brightness is controllable.
- Each setting has on-screen help.
- Displays all AIS data plus safety messages & aids to navigation
- AIS transponders are mandatory on nearly all commercial ships
- Bearing shown in true, magnetic or relative
- The CPA is the minimum distance a vessel will come if both maintain their course & speed
- Time stamp of last data received
